The Post managed to mention that Lopez is an illegal in the NINTH paragraph of the story, but to their credit they put the pic on the front page of the Metro section.
This photo says a lot about the current problem we face with illegal immigration and how illegals truly have ZERO fear of the law.

Illegal immigration is one issue that I am firmly against, and also the one issue that I have taken action on. For those that feel the same and want to tell congress to put a stop to it all, take a look below at these websites - if you haven't already heard of them. Using these tools, I've truely felt that I've had a part in pushing our senators to vote no on many of these amnesty bills. And they are free.

You'll take a survey on how you feel on the issues. They send out emails notifying you on new bills being proposed and when new opportunities to take action arise. This website sends faxes to the senators'/presidents' offices at your request. You just have to click your mouse. All phone/fax numbers for congress members are listed on this site as well. You'll also get emails showing how each senator/congressman voted.
2. www.proenglish.org
This site is primarily pushing for English to become the nations' official language, but it is also against these amnesty bills. This website emails member of congress for you or lets you print out a letter to send. I've gotten alert emails to act now on this Dream Act, as well as the last bill they tried to pass.
I hope anyone against these immigration bills will stand up with me and contact your members of congress. These 2 sites are the easiest way, and it only takes seconds to do!

What's sad is how silent the media has been on this newest issue. You'd at least think FoxNews would report on it, but they're too busy promoting their next OJ story angle or showing video of Britney's abs.

Sorry, to busy to help. Been pressing one for English. Been looking for a job and can't even find one that Americans don’t want to do, like they would offer me the job. To busy, waiting in long hospital lines, Up to 5 hours now, for a cut off limb, go figure. Too busy registrating my car, getting plates, insurance, and emission’s test and obeying the laws of the land.
How the He11 am I suppose to have time to worry about an illegal alien. Oh, I see now!!!!!!

Do ya ever get the idea that the Bleeding Hearts care more about the illegals than they do about their own bread and butter? The ones who have been faithful to pay their taxes, and vote, and support the communities, and keeping our money in our communities? Where lies THEIR loyalty????
Back in the day, when the immigrants came over through Ellis Island, they mixed with the populace, over time, and bacame Americans first, then whatever the ethnicity was second. They learned English, even though they spoke their native tongue at home and with their friends, but in public...
Senor Lopez, I hope, stays in jail until he works off his fines and then he should pay damages, plus lose his vehicle. He should not be afforded the same rights that the citizenry afford. Not that he should be mistreated, don't read that into what I'm saying. We need the hard and fast rules concerning this issue, and right now, there are no clear cut rules...
