BULL MOOSE AMERICA

"Do What You Can, With What You Have, Where You Are" -Teddy Roosevelt

BullMoose America

It's Simple

It's simple.

You go after me for not making up my mind etc. and not marching to your drum.

The fact that you can worry about Immigration, Gay Marriage, and 10 year old votes is because we are not losing a war.
The fact that you have the luxury to bitch and moan about who is more Liberal and Conservative is because we are not losing a war.

We're not losing a war because John McCain made sure we wouldn't lose.

Terror and Big Government: Two things that will destroy us before an illegal or a married gay dude will.

I'm putting Country before Party after weighing all the issues.

A few talk radio hosts deciding three weeks ago to dress up a mannequin like Ronald Reagan and call him Reagan isn't something I'm buying and American voters--REPUBLICAN mind you--didn't buy it either. All my other guys dropped out.

I wish I had the luxury to fold my arms and pack it in and whine about not getting my way. But I've got a son who just joined the military and a country that needs to survive past the decade.

Do me a favor and at least listen to Senator Tom Coburn's case for McCain. Click here.

 UPDATE:

Please also read this about the man so many people call a "traitor" to Conservative American values:

From a speech made by Capt. John S. McCain, US, (Ret) who represents Arizona in the U.S. Senate:

As you may know, I spent five and one half years as a prisoner of war during the Vietnam War. In the early years of our imprisonment, the NVA kept us in solitary confinement or two or three to a cell. In 1971 the NVA moved us from these conditions of isolation into large rooms with as many as 30 to 40 men to a room. This was, as you can imagine, a wonderful change and was a direct result of the efforts of millions of Americans on behalf of a few hundred POWs 10,000 miles from home.

One of the men who moved into my room was a young man named Mike Christian. Mike came from a small town near Selma, Alabama. He didn't wear a pair of shoes until he was 13 years old. At 17, he enlisted in the US Navy. He later earned a commission by going to Officer Training School. Then he became a Naval Flight Officer and was shot down and captured in 1967. Mike had a keen and deep appreciation of the opportunities this country-and our military-provide for people who want to work and want to succeed. As part of the change in treatment, the Vietnamese allowed some prisoners to receive packages from home. In some of these packages were handkerchiefs, scarves and other items of clothing. Mike got himself a bamboo needle.

Over a period of a couple of months, he created an American flag and sewed on the inside of his shirt. Every afternoon, before we had a bowl of soup, we would hang Mike's shirt on the wall of the cell and say the Pledge of Allegiance. I know the Pledge of Allegiance may not seem the most important part of our day now, but I can assure you that in that stark cell it was indeed the most important and meaningful event.

One day the Vietnamese searched our cell, as they did periodically, and discovered Mike's shirt with the flag sewn inside, and removed it. That evening they returned, opened the door of the cell, and for the benefit of all us, beat Mike Christian severely for the next couple of hours.

Then, they opened the door of the cell and threw him in. We cleaned him up as well as we could. The cell in which we lived had a concrete slab in the middle on which we slept. Four naked light bulbs hung in each corner of the room. As said, we tried to clean up Mike as well as we could. After the excitement died down, I looked in the corner of the room, and sitting there beneath that dim light bulb with a piece of red cloth, another shirt and his bamboo needle, was my friend, Mike Christian. He was sitting there with his eyes almost shut from the beating he had received, making another American flag.

He was not making the flag because it made Mike Christian feel better. He was making that flag because he knew how important it was to us to be able to Pledge our allegiance to our flag and country.

So the next time you say the Pledge of Allegiance, you must never forget the sacrifice and courage that thousands of Americans have made to build our nation and promote freedom around the world.

You must remember our duty, our honor, and our country.

"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

What's Next? A Beer Hall Putsch?

Yeah...I'm comparing them to Nazis. The Artie Johnson foolish kind.

Ann Coulter says  McCain has "no honor"?

Mitt Romney says McCain and Hillary are "indistinguishable"?

Rick Santorum, who got his rear handed to him in Pennsylvania, is now an expert on how to elect Republicans?

Others claim, without providing an ounce of factual information, that Huckabee is taking votes away from Romney, when any moron can see that Huckabee and McCain are more alike than different. (Romney was a TSONGAS guy in 1992 for cryin' out loud!)

And then we have those who dare to keep comparing Romney to Reagan and the anti-McCain movement to some kind of preservation of Reagan's ghost. Bwaaaaahhhh!
You mean the Reagan that cited the Golden Rule that "those in 80% agreement are not 20% traitors" ? THAT Reagan?

Keep whining like liberals. Make Romney the nominee.
They'll be held responsible for a Democrat President in 2008, and you will not have seen a Putsch like the one that's gonna be rammed up the Republican Party rear end.

Hillary's Very Own Attache.

Barack Obama.
What a terrible and sissy performance at the debate.

Obviously stung by Hillary's "don't attack me because I'm a perpetual victim" mantra every 12 hours, Barack got on his knees for the Royal Clinton's and kissed their rings. He could barely muster an attack and let Hillary treat him like one of her employees--all friggin' night.

Theories?
1) The Kodak Theater bullcrap may have been one reason. It was actually Hillary and 1000 of her closest Hollywood friends. CNN chose the Oscar venue and stacked it full of stars like the stupid fat guy from Seinfeld, Kevin Costner, Louis Gossett, Stevie Wonder, Rob Riener and the chick from Annie Hall (I forgot her name).
This has Begala and Carville written all over it and since they are both CNN emloyees I know they made this happen. Obama's wea performance may have been due to him being nervous to be in an unfriendly crowd.

2) Barack knows he has it in the bag and he's jujst trying to get through the debate without messing up and giving the Feminazis more ammunition. I'm thinking that most Democrats have made up their minds already and this is all a window dressing deal.

3) The Clintons threatened to kill him. Or hire him as their lawyer. Or make him Commerce Secretary.

Obama supporters should be uniformly shocked at what a puppy Obama became at the debate.

Bloomberg?

Hi..I'm back. Tending to my Ron Paul pot plants. They were dyin'.

LOOK at THIS. OMG.  CLICK THAT LINK NOW!

Bloomberg runs=Hillary finished (if she even gets the nomination at all, which I don't think she will)

"Nuts"?

A Ron Paulite called a radio show and freaked.

You gotta CLICK HEREto hear this to believe it.

The blogs are dismissing him as a nutcase..but i'm sorry to say that any dude who can drop Henry Clay's name in the middle of a temper tantrum about history is, at the very least, interesting and worth hearing.
I actually like the guy's passion. I actually wonder if some of the things he says are right.

Blunt Talk, National Consequences

Here's the entirety of Missouri Governor Blunt's sudden exit from the race.

Doesn't make sense at first glance.
But on second glance makes all the sense in the world.

My take:

Best I can tell this was a nationally orchestrated departure.

Blunt had so dulled the Republican voter base in Missouri with his free spending and embryonic stem cell support that the National party--figuring they already were guaranteed a Presidential nominee who would not enjoy widespread Republican support--begged Blunt to move aside to get someone in there to energize the November vote in an ALL important Missouri state.

In exchange Blunt was virtually guaranteed the nomination to fill Senator Kit Bond's Senate seat if he doesn't get a post in a possible Republican Presidential Administration. Blunt was also spared months of terror and reputation dismantling at the hands of Democrats.

Blunt can now spend more time shining is national image as he has been doing while talking up Mitt Romney.

Why did the Governor wait as long as he did and make a lot of Missouri Republicans mad? It's now all the more possible for a guy like Lt. Governor Peter Kinder to ride the Lt. Gov. incumbency. The rest can't possibly raise enough money at this stage to compete with a Nixon warchest.

Kinder is a much more conservative Repub than Blunt was. There's a sure race now. That gives Republicans a reason to come out in November, even if McCain (heaven forbid) or one of the others don't generate much interest.

One possible contender, Sarah Steelman, certainly knew something THREE DAYS AGO at least. My friend Antonio French at PubDef.net snagged this video from the Treasurer's website.

The Nation's First Black President Sleeps During MLK Speech And Other Funny Stuff

Now here's a dude that is so Royal he doesn't have to give a rat's behind about nuthin'. Nuth-in'.

McCain's wins have to be seen as a a boost to Giuliani.
There's only one man who can make Rudy look like a spring chicken.
uglysc4.jpg

McCain has prettier hands that Hillary, though. I'm sure.
uglysc5.jpg

But Hillary has nicer legs than Huckabee. I'm sure.
uglysc1.jpg

Ok. Now Mitt looks like a grampa.
uglysc6.jpg

And when will someone finally tell Presidential candidates to stay away from West Coast hotel kitchen help. Honestly.

You Ready?

A long time ago I posted on here that I thought Obama had "swing", the kind of "swing" that engages young people and people fed up with government as usual. I figured he had great momentum but also figured he'd get mauled by the Clintonistas and their plantation employees and it would soon be over.

That's not going to happen.

A long time ago I posted that if we were going to be sentenced to having a tax happy big government Democrat in the White House I guess I'd have to wish for Hillary since she seems a better foreign policy tough than Barack.

That's not how I feel anymore.

A long time ago I figured what Republicans would be looking for in a nominee would be a man most matched to Ronald Reagan, a man who appreciated liberal points of view but always swung for the bleachers where Conservatives sat.

Watch me whittle:
Thompson is not going to be elected in a U.S.A general.
McCain is too old and too unstable.
Giuliani
is great but lacks the family thing and seems to care little about remaining fresh. But he's my candidate if I had to choose now.
Huckabee is a wild eyed evangelical who has no respect for the Constitution and even contradicts his own website.
Romney is a perfect candidate but is not seen as real by most Americans and he still has to prove he can gain Democrat crossover votes. (I think he probably can if he tries)
Paul is not going to be elected even though I agree with many of his positions and think some of the other positions deserve a hearing.

On the Democratic side Hillary has shown herself to be a terrible candidate. She constantly needs her red faced and boasting blowhard husband to bail her out, and she is a plastic and insincere person who represents the worst of American politics.

She and her liberal supporters are mostly, in my opinion, white guilt ridden limousine liberals who have thus far profited from keeping blacks on the government plantation and who for years have used blacks for political purposes and political purposes only. Welfare addicts, Union siphons, white middle class race hypocrites, and rich white suburban guilt monkeys make up the bulk of the Hillary support.

More recently it has come out that Obama's "pastor" at
his Church seems to be some kind of Farrakhan supporter. But actually the pastor, like Obama, and, dare I say, like Farrakhan, happen to believe that blacks should be born conservatives, focusing on individual achievement and on family and on supporting the black community in its financial endeavors. They are demeaned as "black separatists" but in actuality they are supporters of pursuit of individual and collective success without the aid of government. If that's "black Separatism" then I am all for it.

so...fasten your seatbelts: I think Barack Obama can be the next Ronald Reagan--not in philosophy but in impact. Those of you hoping for a Republican President had better fight him like he is the next Ronald Reagan.

Robin Hood Corruption.

President Bush and the gang think they have come up with a grand idea to save the economy from recession by giving us some of the money back they've been stealing the past year.

Trouble is the Democrats, as usual, are using this "stimulus" package to play class warfare.

You see, the Democrats want to "cap" the rebates and only give them to individuals who make $85,000 a year or joint filers who make $115,000. The rest of us can just kiss off and watch our money handed out to citizens who are no less nor no more deserving.

So if you're a family of six making a household of $150,000 you have to sit by while the family of three with a household of $115,000 gets a check for up to $1600 made up partially of your money?

Tell me also why the family of four making a household of $60,000 is more deserving of a rebate than the family of four making a household of $120,000?

What a bunch of B.S. Yet another example of the Democrat vision of America: you're punished for making money and punished for having kids.

There is little question the Bush Administration will bow to the Democrat mafia, for it cares little about whether this wealth redistribution program is equitable in any way.

This Bush plan was no doubt built to suck up to the econo-terrorists in the Democratic Party. The Decider will sell most of us down the river.

Madeline All-Fraud

What a night of supreme disgrace at Powell Hall.

As a season ticket holder to the St. Louis Speakers series I was appalled at the virtually uncontested bullcrap former Secretary of State Madeline Albright was allowed to lay on the crowd as she shilled for Hillary and tried to gloss over her deadly tenure.

Once a woman of occasionally reasonable ideas and dignity, she has now become a bitter partisan who fraudulently misrepresents the current U.S. policy so as to cover for her own failings.

This woman who sat back and did nothing while we allowed jihadists to kill our citizens on the USS Cole and in the Khobar Towers has a lot of nerve calling for the same old "treat 'em like criminals" approach that ultimately gave terrorists the time and confidence to plan 9/11. Terrorism is not a police matter. That policy killed Americans.

But what does she care after ignoring jihadists and clinking glasses with Kim Jong Il as America's once famous foreign policy socialite?

Terrorism is a global threat that needs global and geopolitical responses. With her bloody hands she has the nerve to say we need to rewind the clock to her old days and chase after a few Mooj while ignoring the causes of terrorism in the first place. How many Americans is she willing to sacrifice for the sake of making the world like us?

Furthermore, Albright went on to repeat her statement that "Bush is the worst President in history", this during a time of war and a war SHE EGGED ON?

No one has done what Saddam Hussein has done, or is thinking of doing. He is producing weapons of mass destruction, and he is qualitatively and quantitatively different from other dictators."

                                                                      --Madeline Albright. Feb 18, 1998

All this while not being brave enough to assess Condi Rice (I took a vow not to criticize a sitting Secretary of State) nor to comment on Barack Obama (I took a vow not to..blah blah blah).

What a shame watching this hag torpedo her credibility.

Troubling too was her constant quipping that she is a supporter of Hillary and setting herself up for a cabinet position in Hillary's White House. She brushed off the possibility of being named to a second term as Secretary of State but did mention--in passing, of course--that "only one other person, Daniel Webster, ever served twice", meaning she clearly has thought about it. It's no accident that she was standing behind Hillary during the grand concession speech in Iowa.

No wonder Democrats are gravitating to Barack Obama. Who wants the ghosts of Billary past lurking around and fiddling while Americans die.

The Hillary prospect is one long and insufferable remake of The Big Chill.

A Big Chill indeed.
